Victoria Memorial Hall cordially invites you to an exhibition on Krishna an Iconographic Representations from the collection of Victoria Memorial Hall curated by Joyee Roy.

Dr. Ratnabali Chatterjee the former  Professor of the department of Islamic History and Culture of University of Calcutta has kindly agreed to inaugurate the exhibition as the Chief Guest and speak on the theme Thursday, the 23 April 2015, 5.30 pm. at Victoria Memorial Hall ( portrait Gallery) 1 Queen’s Way kolkata  700071.

The exhibition will remain on display till 24 May 2015. Everyday from 10am to 5pm except Monday and designated holidays.

An exhibition of 40 aquatints by Thomas and William Daniell from Oriental Scenery of India.

Victoria Memorial HallThe Japan Foundation and The Consulate General of Japan in Kolkata are pleased to exhibit an array of handicrafts made from traditional materials from all over Japan.

Consul General of Japan in Kolkata, Mr. Kazumi Endo, and Dr.Jayanta Sengupta, The Secretary and Curator of Victoria Memorial Hall will inaugurate the exhibition on Friday the 4 March 2016 at 4 pm. at Portrait Gallery of Victoria Memorial Hall. 1, Queen’s way, Kolkata 700071 .

 The exhibition will be on display till 20 March 2016 (excepts Mondays) at 10.00 am to 5.00 pm( entry till 4.30pm)
