From 6 December to 5 January 2025, VMH and Bengal Biennale showcasing a collaborative exhibition “In the Presence of the Eternal: Henri Cartier-Bresson at Sri Aurobindo Ashram”. This exhibition at the corridor flanking the Great Indian Reformers gallery, offers a rare glimpse into the ashram’s secluded world during Cartier-Bresson’s 1950 visit. His photographs capture a profound sense of devotion, spirituality, and introspection, harmonizing the personal with the universal.
