VMH and Bengal Biennale showcasing a collaborative exhibition “Urbanscape” at the South gate of VMH from 6 December 2024 to 5 January 2025. IN this exhibition artist Paresh Maity uses the form of a jackfruit, or kanthal, to explore the vastness of urban life. Cast in bronze, its spiked exterior reflects the cramped, overcrowded nature of cities, symbolizing isolation amidst the collective.
