Entrance Hall
The Entrance Hall hosts an exhibition titled “Construction of the Victoria Memorial Hall”. This exhibition features photographs documenting the various stages of the Victoria Memorial Hall’s construction from 1906 to 1921, offering visitors an introductory glimpse into the building’s origins upon entering the museum. The Entrance Hall also houses marble statues of King George V and Queen Mary.

H.M.The King George V (1865-1936) - George V, who ruled the United Kingdom from June 3, 1865, until January 20, 1936. George V and Queen Mary visited India and attended the Delhi Durbar in 1911.

H. M. Queen Mary (1867-1953) - Queen Mary’s full-length standing sculpture in evening dress consisting of full skirts, half-sleeved, wide-necked bodice and scarf (all embroidered), a coronet earring, short pearl necklace, jewelled collars, bangles and finger-ring. Several medal and badges on the bodice.
