Victoria Memorial Hall, Goethe Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan Kolkata & Jadavpur University cordially invite you to the inaugural ceremony of 1^st Jadavpur University Photo Fest 2017 from February 24, 2017 to March 05, 2017 at Son-et-lumiere site, entry through East Gate, opp. St. Paul’s Cathedral.

Victoria Memorial Hall will be observing National Productivity Week 2017 (12-18 February) with a Slogan Writing Competition for students centred around the theme From Waste to Profits through Reduce, Recycle and Reuse

• The competition is open for regular school students only. Students enrolled in open schools are not allowed to participate.

• The competition will be in two categories - Junior Category (for students from classes V to VIII) and  Senior  Category (for students from classes IX to XII)

• The students will have to write a slogan in not more than 10 words. The slogan may be written in any of the three languages: Hindi, Bengali, English.

• The slogans should be sent to the following email ids only juniorsloganvmhk@gmail.com (for classes V to VIII) and seniorsloganvmhk@gmail.com  (for classes IX to XII). Slogans sent through any other means or sent to other email ids will not be accepted. The participants should mention their name, address, contact number, class and name of the school along with the entry.

• The last date of receiving entries is 14 February 2017 (by 5.00 pm).

• The slogans selected by our jury will be awarded prizes and would be displayed in the premises on 18 February 2017.

• The decision of the jury and VMH authorities will be final with regard to participation in the competition and selection of slogans for prizes.

Victoria Memorial Hall present Salaam India, A Musical Journey through India with Usha Uthup on Saturday, 11th February 2017, 6:00 pm onwards at Western Quadrangle, Victoria Memorial.

Padma Shri awardee, Usha Uthup, uncovers musical gems from different corners of our country, as she pays tribute to our unity through diversity.
