থমাস ড্যানিয়েল (1749-1840) এবং উইলিয়াম ড্যানিয়েল (1769-1837) এরা কাকা এবং ভাইপো জুটি , 1786 থেকে 1794 সাল পর্যন্ত ব্রিটিশ ভারতে ব্যাপকভাবে ভ্রমণ করেছিলেন এবং সম্ভবত 18 ও 19 শতকে ভারতীয় উপমহাদেশে কাজ করা মহান ইউরোপীয় শিল্পী দের মধ্যে সবচেয়ে অসামান্য ছিলেন।

थॉमस डैनियल (1749-1840, चित्र में बायें) तथा विलियम डैनियल (1769-1837, चित्र में दायें)। इस चाचा-भतीजे की जोड़ी ने सन् 1786 से 1794 तक ब्रिटिश भारत का लगातार दौरा किया था एवं वे संभवत: 18वीं तथा 19वीं सदी में भारतीय उप महादेश पर कार्य कर रहे महान यूरोपीय चित्रकारों में श्रेष्ठ थे।
Portrait of the two Daniells
The uncle and nephew pair of Thomas Daniell (1749-1840) {seen here at left} and William Daniell (1769-1837) {seen here at right} travel extensively in British India from 1786 to 1794, and were perhaps the most outstanding of the great European artists working on the Indian sub-continent in the 18th and 19th centuries.
