Ray and the City, an exhibition of black and white photographs by Sunil K Dutt
Victoria Memorial Hall cordially invites you to the opening of - "Ray and the City", an exhibition of black and white photographs by the veteran photographer Sunil K Dutt on the occasion of the 95th birth anniversary of the doyen of Indian cinema Satyajit Ray.
The exhibition will display historic images by the photographer, which reveal rare and personal moments and moods of the maestro and some associated images of the city. Dr. Partha Ghose, Chairman, Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute has kindly agreed to inaugurate the exhibition on Monday, 9 May 2016, at 5.30 pm.
The exhibition will remain on display till 5th June 2016 in the Portrait Gallery of Victoria Memorial Hall, daily 10.00 am to 5.00 pm (entry till 4.30pm) except Mondays.

Victoria Memorial Hall cordially invites you to the opening of a Single-object exhibition on Shri Abanindranath Tagore’s iconic 1905 painting - Bharat Mata (from the historic Rabindra Bharati Society collection). Professor Sugata Bose, Honorable Member of Parliament and Gardiner Professor of History at Harvard University has kindly consented to inaugurate the exhibition on Monday, the 16th May 2016, at 5.30pm at the Portrait Gallery, Victoria Memorial Hall. 1, Queen’s way, Kolkata 700071.
